Silver Reef

What a fun day we had today!! We took a trip up to Silver Reef to check out all of the cool old historical stuff. We had a picnic lunch in the crumbling remains of a building. We found a bunch of old mine shafts that were blocked off, and we found an awesome beehive kiln. Everyone had a great time, except Chantel, she was not into it at all. I absolutely love old broken things, I don't know why, I just find them fascinating. The joy in my life is most definitely in the journey. I have learned the importance of cherishing every moment, life just goes by too fast. one of my favorite quotes is, "life is the art of drawing without an eraser." so true.
The song attached to my slide show is one of my favorites. I always cry. It really makes me think of the great responsibility I have as a mommy.

I love it out there!! I also love the song you picked. Britt is so cute. Love her! Mitch will know where Sand Cove is, it's only about 20 minutes from here, it's up above Veyo. Upeer Sand Cove is nicer and it's right by Veyo. You don't even really have to off road to go there.

Silver Reef is just up the freeway from St. George. It is one of those "orderville" towns, not very many people live there. It actually used to be a silver mine, it is really cool. It is the only place in the usa that silver has been discovered in sandstone.
