Peanut.

If you like to stalk my blog you will recall Peanut the dog from a previous post... Chantel had her in a stroller.... anyway... My sister had to make some big changes in her life, and that left this little pup without a family... I graciously accepted her into our crazy family.

I don't think she has a single moment of peace. Everyone loves her so much. Chantel and MoJo especially...

Seriously you would think that the dog couldn't walk at all with as much as Chantel carries her around. lol...

Now that the sun decided to come out we decided to take the dogs for a walk. Peanut did great... she loved to be outside and just wander around.

MoJo on the other hand wanted to RUN... full speed ahead. It was all I could do to contain him. I handed Chantel the leash for about sixty seconds while I snapped some pictures...

It was too funny to see Chantel try to contain his energy... =)

The other day the kids made a fort in the living room...

Kitchen chairs and a sheet...
I think that as parents we read a little too much into comercialism... I mean seriously, Drayden spent an hour the other day playing with a spoon and a paper towel. They really don't need so much. Take boredom... add a little bit of creativity... and you get entertainment... =)
all my love ~Nettie

What a cute puppy. I want a puppy, but we haven't made the commitment on one yet. I totally remember making forts like that with the blankets and chairs. It was so much fun!

I'm happy to know that Peanut got a good home. I loved building forts when I was younger. My younger brother and I would do it a lot. It was fun. It is amazing at the simple little things that entertain kids. All you have to do is give them a box or what ever and there happy forever.

You are so nice to take another dog into your family and it looks like the kiddos are adoring the poor thing. And you are so right about bordom and creativity! My kids seriously don't have many toys. The have baseball gear and the X Box, but they seriously don't need anything more than that. I love it when they get creative. I just wish it didn't make such a mess! :)

How adorable little Peanut is! The fort looked like fun, can't wait until Layla is old enough to do things like that!

Those are great shots - well done!

When you add a pint sized animal to a cute little girl, you multiply the precious factor by about 80%. Fun!

Congrats on the new family member.

Yes, I agree about the commercialism! Amen sister.
