Who's your Daddy??

I am an eternal procrastinator, so here is my fathers day post... a few weeks late. Is there anything more adorable than a baby girl being absolutely adored by her daddy??? I think not. I am so grateful to have such a teddybear husband. He likes to think he is tough, and I let him get away with it most of the time, but the reality is he is a big softy.
He is so funny, and silly and really keeps everyone in a good mood. He is the best daddy I have ever seen. He loves his kids, and everyone else's kids for that matter. when there are a bunch of adults sitting around chatting, you will find him in the background playing with their kids...

I am so blessed.

I am grateful that I found a husband who I can laugh with, I am grateful my kids got a daddy that loves to play with them, and we are all grateful that there is such a thing as air freshner, because if there is one thing that daddy passed on to his kids....

It was GAS... LOL
hey baby, WHO'S YOUR DADDY??? [waggling eyebrows] ;)

Take a Hike!!

This was such a beautiful hike. It was Bullion Canyon Falls. It is only about 2.5 hours from St. George. It was only about a 2 mile hike, 1 mile up, one back.

The trail is actually an atv trail, but it made for pretty easy walking. As you can see the trees along the roadside are pretty thick until you get to the top and then you see this..............

notice the water at the very bottom of the falls, yeah the white part that looks all crazy and dangerous, then refer to the next picture...........

alot of us hiked down the cliffs all the way to the base of the falls, it was so amazing to see the sheer power of the waterfall. And of course the crazy priesthood guys had to dive right in the 32 degree water, right at the base and let the water beat the crap out of them.... boys, seriously I may never understand.

the water was icey cold and when you stood anywhere near the falls the little stray droplets of water would land on your head and it felt like a marble or something far more solid than water was being dropped from high up. I can't imagine being right at the bottom like those crazy boys, that must have really hurt!!
A beautiful hike that was well worth it. Thank you Brandy for sharing this wonderful adventure with us!!
